How to reach Shimla:
By Road: For those of you who are planning to travel Shimla from Delhi by road the total distance, you will cover will be 342.8 km. According to your convenience, you can take the Outer Ring Road towards GT Karnal Road. If you plan to travel by bus you can take an overnight air-conditioned luxury bus from ISBT Kashmiri Gate. Buses go in the morning or later at night but timings can vary from season to season.
By Air: For those of you who are planning to travel by flight then Jubarhati, which is about 23 is the nearest airport. There are regular flights going from Jubbarhatti to Chandigarh and Delhi. You can easily get a taxi from the airport to get to Shimla.
By Train: For those of you who are planning to travel by train then Kalka is the nearest railhead which is connected to Chandigarh and Delhi by regular trains. You can take the Kalka Shatabdi, which goes from New Delhi Railway Station to Kalka Railway Station via Chandigarh.
